Purpose
In today’s complex healthcare environment, system-wide processes are needed to assure person-centered care and to optimize the patient experience. The purpose of this assignment is to examine organizational practices that are congruent with these standards. Students will analyze one National Patient Safety Goal and determine how it supports patient-centered care and impacts the patient experience. One strategy to address the selected goal will be proposed, and the impact on workflow and outcomes will be forecasted.Table of Contents

Assignment Overview
